About

Haley O’Connor is a Registered Dietitian and Certified Nutrition Support Clinician. Haley started her career as a Registered Dietitian at a local Hospital where she worked in the trauma and surgical intensive care units. Haley has now started a new venture as she has opened Well Balanced.

Haley has a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Mississippi (HOTTY TODDY) and a Master of Science in Dietetics from Sam Houston State University.

During her undergraduate years at the University of Mississippi, Haley was chosen to be a sports nutrition intern and was able to work side by side with many successful dietitians, athletic trainers, and strength coaches. At Sam Houston State University, Haley completed a research study on the importance of hydration practices with NCAA Soccer players.

In her spare time, she enjoys being outside whether she is walking her dogs, going on bike rides, or working outside in the yard. Haley also loves to travel and try out new recipes. Haley’s goal is to help others understand the importance of nutrition and to truly understand what the term Healthy means. She wants to show others the positive impact that having a Well Balanced lifestyle can have.
